Who does the State Farm Insurance gives the cheque to for the Car Repair?

I had an accident couple days ago and the other driver was found as a fault. Therefore, the State Farm Insurance Company (the other driver’s company) has decided to repair the car for us. The estimate for the car repair has to be below than $4200 and I have it for about $3900. So, I was wondering who does the State Farm Company gives the cheque to? To the owner of the car or the one who is going to fix the car or to whom I got the estimate from?

They give it to the owner of the car. It’s up to the owner if they decide to get it fixed or not. They don’t pay body shops direct when the damage is not to their insureds car.

I got into a car acceident yesterday. I hitted a curve and flew up. Me and my dumb slef. I thought i hitted the brakes instead i hitted the gas. Dont worry im ok. The only problem is that my front bumper on the right side got tore off. I was wondering, how much is it for repair? Please help! I love my car so much! It takes me places! D;

Pat & Mat – The Game : Car Repair and written personal review.

Review (perhaps subjective because of my fanaticism over the old series) —

The over 30 years old Handymen return with their own Video Game this time!
After 1 year of wait, people outside the Czech Republic can finally get this marvel. And I mean it, because if you knew them, if you watched them, you know it must be defined as such. The game is very well made, taking in consideration all the main points of the more famous series. It has all the fun of the series, only that this time, it’s up to you to guess what must be done. In the video for example, there is the Car Repair section of the game, but there’s more. The game is a mix of more minigames, to test your abilities, alone, with the family or friends. These tests are Logic, with the car repair part, Perception with the Jigsaw Puzzle part, Memory with the Fashion Show part and finally even Geometry with the Mini golf part. And the last one is not your standard minigolf.

Ultimately, I think the game is ideal for family purposes, because there are many challenges you can have with other people, for example, how fast you are to build a puzzle? Can your friends, parents, brothers or sisters beat you? This is what makes this game strong. While it’s certainly a title you could think about not getting, especially if you haven’t seen the series, I think it’s completely worth it.

Score :
Graphics : 8.5/10 – This game is not supposed to be an action Movie with special effects, so doesn’t include explosions and actions and whatever. However, the graphics of the game are still very nice. The two Handymen are made marvelously, the items in the environment look like in the series, the movement of the handymen even is actually the same.
Gameplay : 9.5/10 – The game has many minigames and challenges that appearently look easy, but they become challenging. It’s kid-friendly, so there is actually no way of losing the game, however to earn the highest scores, you must play it more and more, and become perfect at it.
Sound : 10/10 : the game features the very same music from the series. And if you know the music, you know it’s great. Perfect even. It fits the environment, the funny part of the game excellently and that’s why I give it a perfect score.

Overall : 9/10. Not the perfect title, but it’s almost perfect. A must buy if you ask me.

Note : I didn’t include a “Story” section because there isn’t one aside from what you can see on this video, and other similar scenes. It however includes funny developer comments here and there

What are some reasons a car repair shop would need the money when you drop off the car to get worked on?

The place isn’t a scam, it’s voted the number one car repair shop in virginia. But what are some reasons that they’d need the money when I drop off my car to get worked on? I already got the estimate for the damages and everything. Thanks yall!

It separates the diagnostic charge from the actual fix. You are told to leave a fixed amount to check the car and this money pays for the time spent to find the problem. Then when they call you with the repair cost it is above the initial prepayment. I have a hard time with customers thinking they should get a free diagnosis if i fix the car. If you have a good relationship with the mechanic they may drop the initial fee.
