http://workshop.search-autoparts.com Today’s mobile air conditioning systems are doing more with a lot less. Refrigerant capacities are getting smaller and smaller, with some models holding as little as 11 ounces! Leaks that would allow a system to last the whole year before experiencing a problem now result in a hot, sweaty…and unhappy…customer returning to your shop before the dog days of summer are over.
Finding these small leaks is a matter of using the right tools and the right methods. This month, technical editor Pete Meier shares tips on how best to prepare for servicing today’s systems, and finding those annoying leaks.
And that’s not all…later this month, Pete partners with TST and Delphi to dive deeper into A/C service in a FREE, live webcast this May 26th at 8:00 pm ET. To register, log on to MotorAge.com/ACBestPractices today!

My dad has worked at a car collision body shop for the past 20 years. So, he deals with cars every day, inhaling lord knows what as he fixes the dents on cars that have been in accidents or using paint to paint the cars or using fiberglass. So his elevated levels of mercury in his bloodstream– could it be from working in this occupation?
Hello, i am a doctor. You seems to be right..Most of the car paints contain heavy metals including Lead & Mercury. As your father work involves denting & painting works that too for the past 20 years. Its very likely that his increased blood Mercury level could be because of this.As increased blood mercury level is a health hazard ,better you get his blood mercury level checked again .If elevated , approach a doctor or toxicology center for further guidance on this matter. .
