I am 18, have a job but didn’t finish high school. But I have a dream of opening my own auto repair Shop. I have all the ideas and capabilities but nowhere near enough money. What are my options from here?

Its not easy, but any number of business owners may be the first to tell you how hard it was getting a foot in the door, and start up was tough. You need to be a good mechanic in this day and age, and you need to get an education in the field that you need the knowlede in , and if you do not have any now, start learining how.
Newer modern cars, are chock full of sensors, so you need a pocket full of classes on diagnostic work and how to use some of the modern equipment, just to even work on many of these cars.like diagnostic scanners admirable idea but it takes money to make money and there are plenty more thinks you are going to need to learn.

Can I use Google to search for the number of auto repair shops in a particular area?

I was told that Google has a search feature that will allow you to find out how many locations of a specific type of business, in my case – auto repair shops, are within a certain number of miles. For instance, I could find out how many auto repair shops are within a 20 mile radius of my zip code.

If there is such a tool, how do I access it?
Clarification: I’m trying to find the total number of auto repair shops within a specific distance, not just the number of, say – ABC Auto Repair.

I have not seen a function that gives a hard geographical radius limit, there is such a function for their paid advertising.

Their local search functionally allows you to find many shops within your community but will all show many other results:

Google: auto repair, your city

I would probably just count the lines in a more conventional yellow page listing.
