What part time job can I get in mechanics/auto shops/etc?

I finished high school recently and would like to get a part time job working at a place that interests me.
I’m 17 and not experienced (but I can learn).
I’m studying engineering next year in university (most probably mechanical or chemical)

Any ideas?

there are a lot of shop maintenance tasks that can be done part time, janitorial, collecting rags, cleaning parts, picking up and dropping off cars and/or parts at the part stores, running for doughnuts, washing vehicles, maintaining the building and grounds, keeping the coffee on and toilet paper on the roll, organizing and stocking inventory, etc etc, etc…..
it gets really crazy right around closing time, so being available for any disaster is important then.
