Where can I find auto shop’s online around where I live that do engine swaps?
Posted by admin on March 30, 2010I am looking to have the engine in my 1995 Ford Probe GT swapped with a new engine. Where can I find auto shops around me online that do these engine swaps? Please help me…. Thank you very much…

you might want to ask your local autoparts (ie. autozone, o’ reilly’s, carquest, advance autoparts) and see what they say? i’d also ask friends, relatives, etc. your probably looking around $1-1.5K, for the engine swap, on top of the engine, related items (ie. new hoses, antifreeze, having the radiator checked, and/or replacing, oil, core deposit, recharging a/c if so equipped, etc., etc.).
fyi, some of those cars (i’m not sure if it’s the taurus, or probe) have like a 8 hr + booktime (something like that) to remove and replace the radiator, as they have to really tear into it, so it might be a good time to do it with the engine out?? anyway, g/l – sos

Any local mechanic shops will do that swap, drop it off at mine and I’ll do it for you.
