What are some effective methods of advertising to the Auto Repair Industry?

I am employed by a company who offers services to the auto repair Industry. As of right now our most effective method of advertising is email. Any advice on other effective methods of reaching body shop owners and managers?

Put a dent in your car, and put a business card under your own windshield wiper saying, I already know how to fix this dent. Take this card and call me in the evening if you need a good worker.
