    You need to degrease before removing old paint and rust because you can sand impurities from the surface down into the steel and you may have a hard time cleaning it later. It’s one of those things that can come back to haunt you.

    I thought the same thing about the metal patch. But I tested it on PLASTIC. road rash hole thru the side plastic on my sport bike.( nobody new how too fix it) so I tried it on the back side, used bondo to fill it in an glazing putty too finish it. 2 years ago an its still holding great, an I stunt it..But the bondo did crack a lil bit but still holding strong

    lol, it’s called buying as much bondo products as possible. I’m surprised he’s not trying to sell “bondo water” for when you get dehydrated on hot summer days during your repair, lol. And what’s the point of the metal patch? Isn’t the job then only going to be as strong as the adhesive on the back of the metal patch? lol. Man I’m no body guy but half of this stuff makes no sense.. Go figure he’s only working on junkyard specials. Nobody in their right mind would let this guy near a newer vehicle

    Wouldn’t have been easier to just cut the rust out & weld a new patch of metal in, rather applying all that crap! it would have been quicker, stronger, & a longer lasting result.
